Shipping Procedures and services
Rallis will ship your order using an efficient and secure shipping company. We ship products with materials, packaging and a method best suited for items on your order.
It is important that you choose the options you need for the delivery address on your order. This will ensure a trouble free delivery for you.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
TRUCK DELIVERY
Large, oversized or heavy items are shipped by truck.
INFORMATION AND OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR TRUCK DELIVERY
• DOCK-TO-DOCK
Driver has order at the end of the truck and you are responsible for unloading.
If a dock is available, the truck will pull up to your dock for unloading. The driver will NOT assist in unloading the order. Unloading may require 2 or more persons at your delivery address to unload oversized or heavy items.
• ADDITIONAL DELIVERY SERVICE OPTIONS AND INFORMATION
LIFTGATE
Items will be lowered to ground level by trucking company. Receiver is responsible for moving order to delivery address. Driver WILL NOT assist. An additional charge will be added for liftgate service.
DELIVERY APPOINTMENT
When your order is ready to ship you will be notified by email with carrier name and delivery information. An appointment may be scheduled by you with the carrier for delivery day and approximate time.**
BUSINESS ADDRESS
If delivery address is a business, or a facility with a dock for delivery.
RESiDENTIAL ADDRESS
A house or building in a residential area.

** Any additional services requested upon delivery and not listed on Rallis invoices will be billed to you, the
customer.
SHIPPING METHODS
SMALL PARCEL AND TRUCK DELIVERY METHODS
SMALL PARCEL
When possible smaller, lighter products are shipped by FEDEX Ground or UPS.
Signature is not required upon delivery, however, it is ultimately up to the delivery driver if they will leave the package unattended. The responsibility for securing the package is yours. If you want your shipment left unattended, we suggest leaving a note on the door with your name, tracking number and "No Signature Required" in the context of the note.
TRUCK DELIVERY
Large oversize, or heavy items are shipped by truck. When your order is ready for shipment, you will be notified by email with the carrier’s name and tracking number. An appointment may be scheduled by you with the carrier for a delivery day and
approximate time. This "after order" service may result in an additional cost that will be charged to you, Truck deliveries are on weekdays only.
RECEIVING ORDER BY TRUCK
When you receive delivery, immediately inspect the package(s) for any damage.
DO NOT SIGN FOR THE DELIVERY IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE. WRITE “PRODUCT DAMAGED” ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT AND REFUSE DELIVERY. PLEASE NOTIFY CUSTOMER SERVICE AT RALLIS AT 1-877-393-8366.
REFUSAL OF A DELIVERY WITHOUT DAMAGE DOES NOT CANCEL THE ORDER. IF AN ORDER IS REFUSED WITHOUT DAMAGE, ALL FREIGHT AND RE-STOCKING CHARGES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CUSTOMER.
While damage and loss during shipment is rare, this will make it easier to file a claim with the carrier. Once you have signed the receipt that all items were delivered and accounted for in good condition, Rallis will not be able to file a claim with the shipping company.
SHIPPING COSTS
Rallis uses best-of-the-industry shipping algorithms to quote shipping costs. If actual cost of shipping exceeds estimate, Rallis will contact you for approval.
Note: United Metal Fabricators (UMF) Orders require a shipping quote when order is placed.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Your order confirmation will include approximate delivery time. It is an approximate “Lead Time“. Our service team will advise you of any delays or “out of stock” items. You may cancel your order by calling Rallis Customer Service at 1-877-393-8366 before your order is shipped.
• Lead Time
Rallis shipping estimates are in “business days”(Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).
• Small Parcels
Small parcels when shipped, usually arrive 1 to 6 business days as per order zip code.
• Truck Shipping
Truck shipping time will be noted on shipping notice email.
